Madison Economic Partners Inc. endeavors for Madison County to be a place of business where companies grow and stay.

Madison Economic Partners was founded in 1988 with the encouragement of Madison County, as Madison Economic Development Corporation (MEDCO). Prior to 1988, there had not been an organized effort in Madison County when it came to economic development.

Currently, MEPI is a joint partnership of economic development organizations, businesses, and private individuals who have come together as partners in economic development in Madison County. They are focused on entrepreneurship, economic gardening, and creating economic opportunities from the talent that is formed from BYU Idaho.

MEPI is a stakeholder-funded organization seeking to grow East Idaho, specifically Madison County. MEPI focuses on entrepreneurship, economic gardening, and recruiting primary employers.

Stakeholder ($1,000)

Access to general events, quarterly newsletters, access to biannual economic report, annual holiday reception, website highlights, business intelligence, and private presentations, and inclusion in the MEPI directory.

General Board ($5,000)

All Stakeholder member benefits plus customized marketing materials, one General Board of Directors seat, site visit participation, invitation to biannual economic report presentation, priority sponsorship opportunities, and other possible exclusive event invitations.

Executive Board (Appointed)

Executive Board Directors are appointed positions, originally done by the Madison County Commissioners to satisfy State Code requirements. This body makes any final decisions and legally obligates the organization.
