MEPI Leadership
Madison Economic Partners is an Idaho-registered nonprofit. MEPI is a joint partnership of economic development organizations, businesses, and private individuals who have come together as partners in economic development in Madison County.
Madison Economic Partners is governed by an elected Board of Directors, with an Executive Board responsible for the day-to-day operations of MEPI
Robert Chambers
President
Robert attended Idaho State University receiving a BA, MPA, and DA in Political Science/Public Administration. He worked for Idaho State University for nine years both teaching as an adjunct faculty and managing the Business and Research Park. He served on the Pocatello City Council for six years and then became the Director of Planning and Development Services for Pocatello serving for sixteen years. He moved to Rexburg in 2011 to teach in the Religious Education Department at BYU-Idaho. He currently serves as the Chair of this department.
Scott Johnson
Executive Director
Scott attended Brigham Young University - Idaho and received a BS in Business Administration. He then joined a software startup in Rexburg, Idaho that later became an Oracle partner company and managed Human Resources worldwide from Guam to New York City for 6 years. Since then, he has served as Director of Economic Development and Community Relations at the City of Rexburg, Idaho, "America's Family Community," which is currently the 4th fastest-growing small city in the United States.
